About the Tours
Yes! Our tours are walking tours suitable for all type of people.
Being a private tour the guide will be happy to adjust the tour in accordance to
your needs.
Some of our tours include transfers, others do not. However, you
can ask to add trasfers to any tour during the booking process.
Our standard Colosseum and Ancient Rome tour does not include the
dungeon, it takes at least 1 hour to visit there and honestly we do not think that
is worth the time and price, we definetely prefer to dedicate the time to the
Emperor Palace instead. Although this is our suggestion, we can customize the tour
on your specific request if needed.
We suggest you start the tour at 9.30 am or 2 pm since
attractions in Rome are less crowded in the early morning and in the afternoon.
The Vatican dress code is quite strict, please no skirts above
the knee, no shorts, no bare shoulders (i.e., tank tops or sleeveless blouses).
Knees and shoulders must be covered. You can take a silk scarf or something to cover
your shoulders/legs whilst in St Peter and the Sistine Chapel then take it off again
when you come out.
Recommendations
If you have been satisfied of the tour you can give a 10-15% tip.
You can also indicate for whom the tip is intended, ie.: in a restaurant sometimes
you will pay directly at the cash, there you can say “the tip is to…” indicating the
waiter who served you.
